Pycnogenol® is the trade name of a powerful antioxidant nutrient that comes from the bioflavonoid family of compounds. It is primarily made from the bark of the Maritime Pine in France, from a highly bioactive substance called proanthocyanidins which is Pycnogenol®'s active ingredient.
